ABOUT jessica

Racial Justice is

where Jessica brings purpose and fortitude. In 2017, she helped co-found an industry BLM movement that was formed into a national DEIA taskforce. That journey led her to create training specifically for instructors focused on DEIA in early childhood education. From there, she has traveled nationwide speaking on anti-bias education and a host of other DEIA topics. She loves playful learning and brings humor and smiles wherever she goes.

In 2020, Slover Linett contacted Jessica about participating in a project around Culture + Community in a Time of Transformation. This project allowed Jessica to serve as a qualitative study advisor and interviewee. This work was turned into an official qualitative report called, Black Perspectives on Creativity, Trustworthiness, Well-Being.

Fast forward to 2022, Jessica’s workshops were published into a book. Her current fascination is pursuing product development and talking about instructional design for building effective learning experiences.

Jessica has been a DEIA consultant at nonprofits, museums, multi-million dollar organizations and government funded agencies.

She has experience building innovative initiatives and programs, aligning people and teams around a common vision, and facilitating transformative learning and development, all centered around building pragmatic and efficient solutions.
